Account Supervisor - Sports and Lifestyle

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Supervisor to join our growing sports and lifestyle practice. We are seeking someone who has experience working with sports brands and properties with the proven ability to keep deliverables moving while generating media relations results. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support top-tier sports brands and properties helping to drive media relations strategy and results that help move our clients’ business forward. Primary Responsibilities  

  • Serve as a lead client contact with the ability to present updates in meetings

  • Flawless execution of proactive and reactive earned media relations work, including developing media lists, reporter briefing sheets, media audits, well-crafted pitches and strategic media recommendations 

  • Oversight of press materials including press releases, pitches, reports, client correspondence 

  • Proactively provide quality assurance for all clients deliverables (I.E. proofreading, fact-checking, research, reference, citations)  

  • Keep projects moving forward with a proven ability to manage deliverables and hit deadlines  

  • Become an expert on your client’s business and the competitors within their industry  

 

Education and Experience Requirements 

  • 5-7 years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position  

  • Proven track record of generation media relations results with a portfolio of sports and lifestyle related clips  

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Account Supervisor - Music, Entertainment, & Social Justice

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Supervisor to join our growing music, entertainment and social justice department. We are seeking someone who has experience and a passion for working with music and entertainment talent and personalities, with the proven ability to keep deliverables moving while generating media relations results. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support musicians through full album campaigns, tours, video and song releases and more, helping to drive media relations strategy and deliver results that help move our clients’ careers forward. An interest in social justice is a bonus, given the intersection of music and activism. You’ll play a critical role in supporting our team by ensuring excellence in delivery, clear communication, organization and high-quality deliverables.

 

Primary Responsibilities  

  • Serve as day-to-day client contact with the ability to present updates in meetings and manage team members ranging from Senior Account Executives to Entry-Level positions.

  • Oversee the development of press materials, including agendas, press releases, pitches, recaps and other account materials and other internal documents.

  • Execute and advise on PR strategies and collaboratively develop strategic media plans.

Account Supervisor - Food, Beverage & Travel

We have an opportunity for a Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor specializing in food, beverage and travel out of our New York office. This role is a day-to-day client contact and media relations wiz, who ensures that communications programs are carried out with perfection. A true self-starter and someone looking for an opportunity to grow. 

 

Primary Responsibilities  

  • Strategic account management, including the planning and execution of media programs 

  • Serve as a primary, day-to-day, client contact and provide strong client counsel on tactical matters linked to strategic plans; anticipate client needs and prepare in advance 

  • Interact with senior level colleagues and clients and troubleshoot clients’ problems as they arise 

  • Drive media results for clients across your portfolio and rally the team to take action 

  • Demonstrate the ability to apply public relations techniques beyond media relations in response to client briefs 

  • Maintain a thorough, demonstrated understanding of clients’ businesses and industries; actively follow and understand emerging issues, trends and news impacting your clients’ business, and proactively advise the team and client regarding how best to leverage or address these developments 

  • Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to support client objectives and stories; ensure client program success; participate actively in account team strategy sessions and brainstorms

Education and Experience Requirements 

  • At least 5 years of experience working in communications, preferably food, beverage and travel at a public relations agency

  • Superior oral and written communication skills; strong proofreading and editing ability  

  • Demonstrated proficiency in media relations (story pitching to traditional media and digital influencers, writing releases and bylined articles, ability to find creative angles and create highly targeted media strategies and pitches)
